Great class last night!  As I already mentioned on the boards, I thought last night’s class was really successful.  It was nice to have something concrete to make sense of the theory that the book spouts at us.  I’ve been wondering if the authors actually espouse to designing their books with ID in mind of if they prefer to go the route of text book authors after Sputnik and simply cram in the information of experts without considering feedback from their readers…

 Anyway, ever since I had posed the question of the relationship between propaganda and the IT&D model, it seems obvious that this must be the case.  It seems common sense that the same minds who were creating the training videos for the military would also be aiding the American government in its film endevors.  A search for “propaganda film” within Wikipedia demonstrates that we were not the first to use such methods, however they were embraced during WWII.
